Weight Loss over 40 has its ups and downs. After a stressful year at work and no weight loss. I decided something needed to change. I heard the concept that Happy is an action. I thought there would be no harm in trying that on. That was the origination of my goal of having something to look forward to each month. I brainstormed a few ideas and placed them on a cute little board in my Notion App.
The month of January I was looking forward to the Purina Beggin Pet Parade. I decided since my dog was not fun to have at the Dog Parade I would make a stand-in. I had to learn paper mache and had a lot of fun doing it. The trick was that I was not allowed to work on it unless I was meeting my steps goal and tracking my calories. Insert additional motivation to do those things. I created a five-part video series around the whole project.
With The Dog Parade behind me, the countdown is on for the big thing to look forward to. My mom is taking me on a cruise to Mahogany Bay, Belize, and Cozumel. 34 days to prepare. I needed to choose excursions and figure out what to pack. I also decided it would be a great time for some creative pursuits. I am not going to tell you about all of it now. This is more of me giving you something to look forward to. These photos are just a sneak peek into what will be coming in the weeks to come.
